Seriously, how is anyone supposed to answer this for you? Engine can take it if healthy. Trans will probably need a rebuild at some point. If that makes you uncomfortable, then no, not worth it.

I've often wondered what the real world difference is when you compare Stage 2 2.3L and Stage 3 3L (I think that's the capacity of both).
I remember reading a review once of someone who went from Stage 1 to Stage 3 and recommended for the street Stage 1 only. I guess between the two is around 100-150hp.

I've posted up plenty about my car. Had my first real issue other than transmission problems a few months back - idler pulley bearing went bad. i had the early single bearing version, the kits now come with a double bearing idler. Then this past week I started getting some misfire issues - time for oxygen sensors. Realistically these are both common issues on a car approaching 7-8yrs of age that get the snot beat out of them daily. Cant complaint- this car has been rock solid. approaching 55k miles now. What year is your car and where are you located?

Pushing 45,000km under stage 3 power, no issues. These engines are beasts.
Your trans will be the only concern. It should last a while under stage 2.

Most "tests" are fairly misleading because people go with much larger displacement Whipples to compare. Most people outside of the MB world are comparing the 2.3L TVS unit you use with the 2.9L Whipple. I've never compared the efficiency maps and air temps generated of either at the low psi levels this platform runs, so I'm not advocating for one over another.

Speaking of efficiency and air temps. Where can I find some info regarding this on whipple blowers. I'm looking for efficiency graphs and outlet air temps.
Does anyone know where dangerous IATs start at??

You might have to contact Whipple. I've not seen one for the 2.9L. People typically rely on Lysholm maps for twin screws, but their twin screws go from 2.3L to 3.3L without anything in between... so hard to say. Worth a shot.
