Fuel Pressure Sensor Missing?

I've recently had the infamous CEL and checked the codes. P0017, P2540, and P228C came up., I replaced both camshaft sensors and crankshaft sensor and I was going to replace the fuel pressure sensor when I noticed that the left fuel pump was leaking small amounts of gas constantly while the car was on. Gas was coming out of a small whole where I thought a sensor would be, but there's only 1 set of wires. Also, where exactly is the fuel pressure regulator? Apparently P228C is directly related to that. Any help would be appreciated on how to fix this.

There is no regulator. The pressure is controlled via the pumps with feedback from the sensor.

Is there supposed to be a fuel pressure sensor on the left fuel pump?
I guess it's missing, but there's only 1 set of electrical lines, not 2. My C63 is a 2011.

Fuel pressure sensor is on the fuel rail, driver's side front part of the intake mani. It's the plug on the silver fuel rail.
