Side markers replaced! Time to go through some of things yall recommended.

 

Are these starter buttons simple swaps or do you just double side tape on a cover? Can't seem to find any articles on this, most leads to changing key batteries/cover.

Why are these $195 each? Serious question, what am I missing? Ones on eBay are $20, I'm okay with non-OEM fake carbon fiber if it saves me $180. After all it's a button, not some performance part.

I like that you didn't wrap all the trim around the windows. The brushed metal looks good as a complement to the exposed aluminum on your wheels.

Probably because those are Chinese made plastic replicas, not authentic Mercedes buttons wrapped in real carbon fiber.

It's like asking why a replica sword is cheaper than one made by a blacksmith.

 

They go over your authentic mercedes button and are just a cover, vs the carbon being applied wet to the button.

I would certainly take a chance for 20 bucks as it pretty much looks the same, there is a guy on ebay just buying these sticking them on mercedes buttons and selling for 100 making 65 bucks each!

 

Ah okay, that's what I thought. I could live with that. I thought the OEM keys got something more than real vs fake CF.
