Push to start not working

My push to start isn't working from time to time for about an hour then it'll work, and I can't crank it with the key fob either. Anyone have an idea of what's wrong with it?

Oh that would have been pertinent information to include in that first post haha!!

Well...that would be about the only thing I can think of. Do you have a spare key you can test with? If it does it with both keys I'd assume it is a keyless go issue, in that case I got nothing for you sorry

Sounds like you need to take it to another dealer for a second opinion.

.
A few things to consider, having already replaced key fob battery and tried with other key:

Check car battery. These cars' electronics seem exquisitely sensitive to reduced voltages/power

Check Starter fuses 6, 7, 19, 27

These potentials will need dealer help:
Key may need to be resync'd, there may be an issue with the RFID reader module, steering wheel lock or EIS module

My push to start acts weird every once in a while. I've narrowed it down to the electronics being confused about whether I just unlocked and entered the car or just unlocked and got out.

For example, when the problem happens, after I open the door to get in, it says "dont forget to take the key with you" which is usually what the car says when you open the door to get out.

I usually have to get in and out of the car a few times and lock / unlock until the car gets it right. At first though the symptoms seemed just like a dead battery or dead key fob. Neither of my keys would work either.

That's exactly what mine does but it lasts a bit longer.
