Eurocharged V7 Tune

Haven't really seen anything in here re: the Eurocharged V7 tune since the fighting that took place a couple of months ago re: the beta version. Just curious now that it's been released what people's impressions have been. I've got V5 right now. One complaint I've always had is a rough shift from 2nd to 3rd gear that happens unless: (a) I'm going pretty easy, or (b) I'm going WOT. Hoping they've smoothed that out in the last year. I see on their website they're charging $150 for an upgrade. Didn't it used to be cheaper? Don't really want to spend $150 unless there's a noticeable difference.

Yeah...sorry about that. Just did a search for "Eurocharged" in the title...so I missed that one. Didn't mean to clog up the forum. My bad.

Don't need to apologize to me, most of the threads in this forum are just clogging up this forum with useless stuff.

Despite the problem thread, my 2013 has run V5,6 and V7 and V7 runs excellent on my car and is by far the best of the 3 I have had. V6 was awful, it made good power but was very jerky and unrefined and car was almost underivable in S+. V7 I love S and S+ it is sporty and very responsive but seems the transmission is not as confused and just snaps off shifts like it should.

Thanks for the feedback. After reading the other thread, it seems like quite a few people have been having a problem with V7...

It does, I am on V7 Beta, seems like there might be more issue with the full release possibly than the beta also.

Get a dyno tune from EC locations if you're lucky enough to live close

They will do a remote dyno tune also, just need to find a shop that will let you do a few runs with some downtime in between.

Just went from stock to ARH catless headers with the v7 tune, and I am having the exact issues described. In C mode, the clutch is slipping really bad, in manual the shifts aren't crisp and fast as they are stock. The car feels super slow, and laggy. I loaded the stock file back, and the car was instantly buttery smooth, crisp shifts, and felt faster than being tuned lol. Hope Jerry can help me work this out.

I know it doesn't mean much but mine is fine. Went from v5 to V7 and I couldn't tell a major difference but definitely nothing negative. The V5 would ping under load occasionally but the V7 hasn't once.

I own a c63 coupe and its pushing well over 522WHP and the tune still needs adjusting lol. FBO and E85! Eurocharged has the V7 available.
