Eurocharged V7 Dyno Tune - Results
Brought her in this morning for my scheduled dyno tune....
2013 C63 P31
Secondary cat delete
Charcoal filters removed
Stock
417whp
370wtq
V7 Dyno Tune
455whp
420wtq
Drivability is much improved. Midrange torque gains are pretty huge making car rev much faster. Top end also feels like a beast.
Dyno tune netted me about 12whp and 15wtq as the V7 flash only gave me 443whp and 405wtq.

Did you have any dyno done on any previous versions of your tune?

Nice gains.
From what I see over here, it's reasonably common to see 430-440 on a P31 from just a tune and secondary delete. However the additional 15whp up top is more like full decat gains, so that's nice to know that the V7 is doing something different.
What I find epic is how strong your low rpm and mid-range is doing!
I'm guessing you specified the higher rpm tune to 7200rpm? How are you finding the full throttle spring to 100mph now with the longer 2nd and 3rd gears?
I need me this V7 tune...![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
Oh - any chance you can send me some Torque logs at WOT ? I like to analyse these things like a goof.

No. Car was stock prior to today.
Had my rev-limiter raised to 7500, not 7200. Haven't had a chance to really wring her out yet... going to venture out tonight once traffic is cleared.

I see a standard correction factor. Very similar to my v7 numbers 451whp 426 wtq (row boxes, second cat delete)
question, how long was the tune on your car before you hit the dyno? Have you had it on the car for a while or just uploaded it when on the dyno? I ask because eurocharged told me that after the car adapts to the tune (has to be driven around for a while) I would of likely picked up another 10whp or so

Thinking about ordering and upgrading from V6. Any thoughts on what to choose for the rev limiter option? Also, I’ve been reading some old v7 threads and looks like some people had bugs. Did they work all those out yet?

Im still dealing with mine , iv had already 4 different v7 files loaded and for some reason it seems to never be right , everyone says the v7 is alot better then the v6 but for me its the other way around. I want to run the V7 since the gain is promising and the drivability has gotten better but my car is rejecting it . My issues are the throttle is way to touchy even when in 7th on the highway it feels like an on-off switch which is annoying, iv lost the throttle blips/snaps on downshifts and also the car on a load makes a slight squeak when gas is applied seems to be from either the tranny or the engine cant really tell it never did this on the v6 . All in all I really would love for the tune to work since I did pay for the update fee and for the added benefit it comes with.

Interested in v7 tune
Hi, are you running it on 91 or 93 octane?since the M156 engines heat up quick, did you have any overheating issues with the car till now?I just ordered my armytrix high flow decatted pipes with BMC air filters, what gains should I expect?
thank you 👍
thank you 👍

I have not over heat but i dont hammer it as much i want. But these motirs are designed to be hammered! Amg after all.
oill temp normaly on 105-110 and coolant aound the same.
dont let the stock readings fool you.
if you drive hard, oil and radiator upgrades!
this car is for show.
imo many flaws in design including headbolts, lifters, cams. Cam adjuster, cooling oil and coolant.
