Random wheel and tire fitment info
Hi everyone,
I've had several different wheel/tire combos on the car in the past year and just thought I'd post what I've learned. The car is an '09 sedan lowered on H&Rs.
Front:
- I've run a 245/40/18 on the factory 8-inch, 45mm offset wheel with no problems. Have also run that with a 10mm spacer with no problems
- 245/40/18 on 8.5 inch with 45mm offset is no problem. Pretty sure you could run 10mm spacers with this no problem.
- have also run a 255/40/18 on an 8.5 inch rim with 45mm offset with no problems. Haven't run a spacer with this setup, but it looks like a 10mm spacer would max it out.
Rears:
- 265/40/18 on factory 9-inch, 54mm offset wheel is no problem.
- 265/35/18 on factory 9 inch is fine with no spacer or a 10mm spacer.
- 265/40/18 on 8.5 inch, 45mm offset has just a slight rub at full compression. No room for a spacer, it's pretty maxed out.
- 255/40/18 on 8.5 inch, 45mm offset fits just fine. Will try a 10mm spacer when I put the summers back on, but it'll be tight.
Nothing revolutionary here, just thought I'd pass the info along for those that are running H&Rs.

Oh, and last one is as follows:
- the factory 9-inch rear fits the front with a 10mm spacer and 235/40/18 no problem. It has lots of extra room for tire, so I'll try the 265/35/18 and see if that works. Without the spacer it does not clear the caliper.
