Picked up these on eBay. Around $5.00 each. The black one on the dash looks "OK". I'm on the fence about keeping it.
But the silver one with black lettering on the ashtray cover looks very sharp and does not affect the sliding action whatsoever. Very happy with the outcome!!!

I agree, silver one is better, but looks a bit out of place, the new W205 has an AMG emblem in the same place and I think it doesn't look good from the factory there either.
Yeah, but they look fine on a BS (I guess if stickers are your thing). Yours do not. And those seats look great.
To each their own I guess. Lipstick red seats look hideous to me. The emblems do look better in person. The silver one is actually brushed aluminum. I was surprised at the quality.

Yeah, I wanted to add some more contrast. Plus there's not a lot of clearance on the top of the sliding ashtray door. I will most likely remove the black one from the dash and put in on the owner manual case or something.
This is off-topic but IMO red seats trends a bit gaudy. I would imagine the person driving it someone with a tan and muscle shirts with elbows that can’t reach their sides.
