Front Windshield on C63, same as other C class?

Front Windshield on C63, same as other C class?
Hi,
My front windshield was cracked and replaced using my insurance coverage. The official MB shop that performed the job said the new windshield is imported from Germany. But the brand of the new windshield is FUYAO, whereas the original one was PILKINGTON.
I have some doubt as FUYAO sounds more like a local chinese company (i'm in China); so i think this front windshield can also be sourced locally.
My guess is that the windshield is the same for C63 or all other C class w204 but i'm not sure. If any expert can confirm?

Could very well be a chinese company but part was in stock in Germany.. I wouldnt worry.

grtracer: I suppose you are probably correct, but in a more general way I share the OP's concerns. One thing that I "saw" immediately after I bought my 5-year old 2012 C63 with original windshield is how amazingly un-abraded, crystal clear and distortion-free it was. When it is clean, it is so clear that it "looks" like there is no glass there. This is not the case with all windshields, and particularly not the case with after-market replacement windshields purchased from non-OEM sources.
Just like most other products, there is a quality range in windshields.

I did once own a Buick Riviera whose previous owner had commuted on an unpaved road. Not only was the hood (only) paint somewhat duller looking than the rest of the car, but the windshield never seemed very crystal clear even right after the car was washed. Then, I got a stone hit that required windshield replacement. After the replacement, I was in awe at the improved clarity.

Ok, if you are having withdrawal symptoms, here you go:
I did once own a Buick Riviera whose previous owner had commuted on an unpaved road. Not only was the hood (only) paint somewhat duller looking than the rest of the car, but the windshield never seemed very crystal clear even right after the car was washed. Then, I got a stone hit that required windshield replacement. After the replacement, I was in awe at the improved clarity.
