O2 sensors issues

Had the headers on my car for roughly 6k miles and finally the sensors gave out. Then my buddy gave me his oem sensors that had like 40k on his c63 and those gave out in like 2k. I replaced brand new Bosch O2’s less than 500miles ago and boom P2626. I also noticed my dipstick was popped up and i replaced my PCV less than 10k ago, i cant imagine that went so i’ll Start with the o rings on it.

Any help is appreciated.

Just try clearing the code and if it doesn't clear keep driving it anyway. I've had that issue before with a change of O2 sensors and it seems there's some sort of learning process before the situation stabilizes and the code(s) disappear. IIRC it was probably 500 miles for me.

edit: Vladds had some interesting thing to say about O2 sensors a few months ago...if interested just search it.

I killed a brand new O2 sensor with my catless LTHs in about 10k miles. Now I use the bosch ones from O'reilly and they replace them no questions asked within a year IIRC. Half the price and no hassle. I think my O2 sensor died because I had a MAF stored code and the car was running rich. Fingers crossed that I don't have that issue again since I replaced with ROWs/new MAFs and the MAF codes haven't come back.

check for cut wires, a vacuum leak, exhaust leak, look at your fuel trims and air fuel ratio. Not out of the question to have gotton a defective one as well.

Before buying another sensor try moving it to bank 2 and see if that code moves.

Also make sure you are not using any kind if extension wires on them.
