20mm spacers work with 225 50 16 if you want to run 255 50 16 you need c200 calipers or anything 15in you need c200 or c300 calipersOriginally Posted by Mort
and maybe with rear calipers off a regular W204.
Well today was a fun day racing. Being the end of the year, it was extremely busy, so only managed 4 runs. Our local track, Killarney, is known for having very poor levels of grip.
I tried the TC off, brake boosted to 2500rpm, and when I let go the pedal, it just smoked the tyres.
My best run was using launch control. I managed an 11.9 run with a 60 foot time of 1.95.
Need to get some proper tyres for the new year.

I'm thinking of getting the 275/40 R17 Hoosiers.
Anybody running these, and what offset rim would you recommend for these.

TC on Sport
I did a run with TC on Sport. I probably brake boosted to about 2000 rpm. It launched better, but as soon as I tried to floor it, I could feel the car pulling back. Ran a 12.0 with a 2 second 60 foot.Originally Posted by BLKROKT

Has anybody run the 275/40/R17 Hoosiers on the back of their C63. Does it fit, and what offset rim would I need.

I believe a member had them mounted on enkei wheels. Think it was dsawyer. They fit if your at stock ride height. More tire than you need.Originally Posted by Savage-wp

I ran 225/45/17 hoosiers on enkei's and they work well. Using the 16inch clk wheels help the 60ft and they dead hook as well.

ExploreAwesome. Thanks for the feedback guys. Our local track is not well prepared, and has low grip, so I need more tyre.
Glad to hear the 275 fits.
Should I be looking at a stock offset for the 17" wheel, or do I require a different offset to my stock 19" wheels.
