Yeah it's a tough job but it can be done. Having the right tools and small hands will be key, I had neither. Also after install a few hundred miles later you'll have to adjust things that may start to rub. That job was tough and after that I pretty much work on any other mechanical task that comes up. If you can install headers on a c63 on a garage floor with jack stands after 8-12 hrs of intense, dangerous, physical tree work, you can pretty much handle anything else. Good luck and be patient.

My dude hook me up with intel on how to get around SMOG. Congrats on the install btw, did mine with my bro about a month ago. I enjoy every morning hearing her bark
Yeah its savage in the mornings. It still scares people when I hit the gas or downshift. As far as smog, mines due in june. But I know a guy who is a "smog specialist". I left my rear o2's on so mine is going to be a little easier, just has to pretend he didn't see the lth. $100 some modelos and some chicharrones or queso flavored ruffles and its a done deal.

LMAO
I left my rears too. If I need some help come time smog you think your bud would help out?
Hey could you guys post a side pic under the car? I found one pic of coated arh that seem to drop pretty low but can't find it anymore. I'm trying to figure out how low/clearance i would have before I install them

Removal was pretty straight forward. I was able to remove all top nuts from the top. Pulling driver side coils helped. Closed end wrench with pivoting head definitely helped with bottom nuts. I figured out that you're able to reach a few nuts with extensions and a regular ratchet if you look hard enough. Definitely need to remove fire shield around column to take stock header out. Removal took 4 hours without dropping the rack. Install time?.... 3-4 weeks lol. Found out I need new mounts and that's how long it'll be for the next run of ECE mounts
I found out... Driver side was a breeze. Passenger side was a mf'r. Passenger side went in and out 3 times! I kept dropping the top back nut and each time it went in between the pipes near the collector. Not 100 percent yet, the o2 extensions were short.
I put in the ece mounts without heatshields, felt bad, then did them over with the headers in smh lol. This is how tight it is even after bending and shaping the shields with arh. Passenger side with about a mm gap. No test drive yet, hoping i don't get a rattle Driver side should be good Clearance from steering shaft

We had to lift the engine to do the passenger side. Id say that was longest part of the whole install. Congrats on the install though I know that feeling of when finished!

Sad, still haven't got to start it yet. Waiting on longer o2 extensions and intake spacers
