Different guy. The cops have already been to his house.

Go go to the “King of NYC” instagram (c63nyc). Unfortunately it’s not him, but all of his retard friends are sharing stories (one of them is the other guy who was doing burnouts in TS a few weeks back, and he says the cops showed up at his place 2am).

The sooner all of these low-IQ morons are either in jail or trapped in a burning wreck, the better.

I got tagged 100 times on this video on ig. Truth is, I’ve been here before. I was downtown in my double nickel, saw some friends and one made the burn out gesture so i did a stand still (not knowing they had a police department on the same street) i put the car in second and blew out of the stand still only to find a cop in the middle of the street with a flash light pointed at me. I looked over at my bro and said imma have to go to jail today, drive the car and get me later. The officer said “turn this piece of **** off” so i did. At this point there is many cops around and one says “ohhhhhh in the v8 kompressor” cop walks to my door and i said officer im sorry i have no good explanation other than i can control the car and I’m sorry, he says “stfu give me your license” they left us parked in the middle of the road for a few minutes, i saw them huddled up and talking an i thought for sure i was fried chicken. He came and asked me “what are you doing tonight?” I said I’m going downtown to meet a few girls he said no you’re not, he said if i see you or this POS Mercedes you’re going to jail, he threw my license at my face and said gtf outta my face. I tucked tail and went the other direction.

v10 i like you and back you on many post but your comment was full retard and ignorant, if a police officer is standing in front of anyone’s car one must respect, not only is he the law but he is a regular dude with a family doing his job (which is tough and sucks)

the driver of this c63 is clearly and idiot with the IQ of a centipede. Instead of taking the burnout or reckless driving ticket he will now sit in jail for a while and he earned it. I really wouldn’t put a mercedes driver on this but it happened. I can only imagine he’s wanted for bigger charges.

The driver is a royal asshat based on that footage, and deserves to be behind bars.
The way that they describe that incident though... "A reckless driver zooming through Times Square so fast that the tires of his sportscar were smoking."

Doubt it. You can also see a GTR and Challenger behind him. Guessing they were out driving around like asshats.

That guys is a compete ***. We've all done burnouts, but to do one in Timesquare is asking to get caught.
I'm sure had he just stopped and apologised, he would have got a talking to and a fine.
Now he is completely ****ed.

this is popping up on all the car forums..... the m3 forum is saying C63=Mustang..... now..... lol...... hating on the W204 like usual.

Any lawyers reading this..... does this guy have a chance to suggest he did not know this was a LEO..... and he thought he was being carjacked, and thus to protect his own life he made evasive maneuvers?

Just might work?

M3 owners only had one model year with a V8 and it will never sound as good as a C63. This is just their coping mechanism

I want to say he probably had other offenses, tickets, whatever, with how quickly he decided to run. He had enough calm/collective thinking to test the cop with the first short acceleration and dodging, then continued that stupid thought process as he probably saw more police arrive. I don't think he panicked until he saw that the cop wasn't just going to move to the side when he charged.

That GTR looked nice though.

No he "panicked" because he got caught being a complete and total moron and only made it worse by now, running over an officer, evading police arrest, probably running red lights, going the wrong direction against traffic, and hitting multiple cars in his escape.

Please please please don't try to defend the actions of this complete and utter moron. The cop did his job correctly by trying to stop him then and there. the CRIMINAL instead decided to try to run him over and put others in danger by ramming cars in his escape.

My only hope its that idiot "king of NYC" or whatever he is and he gets caught and taken off the road for good.
When did I try to defend the driver's actions? I simply stated the cop did not handle that situation properly.

You're not stopping a 4000lb car by planting your feet in the ground and your hands on the hood. He escalated the situation by doing so...

You’re so right. Of course it was the cop who escalated the situation. How silly for him to actually react and try to stop the situation. When no one else would. Because that’s what they do. Why didn’t I see that.

Have you been eating detergent again.

If you slow it down that's not what happened. I thought so at first, too. But really you can tell the driver does something that alerts the cop to the fact the driver doesn't plan on stopping. The only reason he put his hands on the hood was because the driver cut the wheel and drove into him. Had the driver not accelerated the cops hands wouldn't have been on the hood. The only argument really is that you shouldn't stand in front of a car, but again, at this point he was just doing his job thinking the guy would stop then and there.

That's it... and hopefully lesson learned for the cop. He seriously put his life in danger trying to stop that car. Next time approach the driver's side window....

Re the leo putting himself in front of the car..... consider how the leo elevated the offense from reckless and evading UP to assult with a deadly weapon.... by deliberately standing in front of the car...... this raises the stakes for the driver.
Leo do this all the time..... and it is effective.

I've witnessed different philosophies of engagement from a more passive monitor and de-escalate mode....... more euro.... to a immediately engage, and escalate with deadly force (as an option).... so as to push all the button early and end it early.... see more here in states.

I'm not judging..... I'm no leo, but I do respect them.... I have leo in my family.

Did you just threaten BLKROKT?

The idea was to stop the reckless driving before he hurt someone. Protect and serve is something some police officers still do.

Ultimately, it's the choice of the individual Officer how to enforce it, but I totally agree that the driver most likely had priors to this event.

Maybe the driver freaked because the cop was getting ready to shoot. The driver actually stopped when he could of blown right past him. Cops have had an itchy trigger finger as of late. The driver ****ed up no matter how you slice it. The cop did escalate the situation too. Approach the car in a not so menacing way (reaching for your gun), if the ******* leaves call for back up, not jump in front with gun drawn. We have all done a burnout, and some have been punished. But I imagine most of you have never had a gun pointed at you for lighting tires. So just to clarify, driver is an idiot, but the cops course of action was not ideal to say the least.
