Maybe the driver freaked because the cop was getting ready to shoot. The driver actually stopped when he could of blown right past him. Cops have had an itchy trigger finger as of late. The driver ****ed up no matter how you slice it. The cop did escalate the situation too. Approach the car in a not so menacing way (reaching for your gun), if the ******* leaves call for back up, not jump in front with gun drawn. We have all done a burnout, and some have been punished. But I imagine most of you have never had a gun pointed at you for lighting tires. So just to clarify, driver is an idiot, but the cops course of action was not ideal to say the least.
I don't think you should drive because at every single traffic stop an officer approaches a vehicle with his hand simply on his weapon which yes, the officer only had a hand on his weapon here. Not drawn, just there, close, in case oh I don't know the aggressive driver he was standing in front of decided to use his vehicle as a weapon. If you and others can't handle that then don't get behind the wheel. Wouldn't want you freaking out and almost running over a police officer only to stand behind some BS defense you panicked or whatever if you ever get pulled over.
Ridiculous.

The driver was already accelerating into the cop before he put his hands out and pulled his weapon. And then once he does put his hands out he had BOTH of them on the hood. Meaning, no gun in hand. It wasn't until he was well on his way to being run over until he drew his weapon. Unfortunately he didn't have enough time to send rounds into the driver which is what the driver deserved.

He didn't "defend" the drivers actions in any sense of the word. The driver was an idiot and deserves whatever comes, but the cop definitely put himself in danger.

How did you see it?
Edit: I deleted it cause I would just rather spare myself the arguing back and forth. Net -- The driver is absolutely deserving of his upcoming jail sentence, but, on the flip side, I will not say that the officer handled the situation in neither the least confrontational way, nor a way that would be conducive to his own safety and well being.

Can we take a second to commend the officer on his exemplary trigger discipline? Had his index finger been over the trigger, the impact of his forearm against the pavement could have ended much worse.

Main culprit seems to be Sofoke_C63 ig as he has a black FL C63 with yellow calipers and is from NY. Unfortunately, a guy called jesse_C63 ig from Baltimore with a black preFL C63 was identified as the suspect and raided at 2AM??

jesse_c63OKAY, so... to start off, this isn't me. I wouldn't ever do a one wheel burnout. And I sure as hell would just take the damn ticket instead of hitting a cop. BUT somehow this lead to a detective from New York claiming that I did it, which lead to cops swarming my house at 2 o'clock in the morning looking for me, the suspected cop hitting AMG driver. Whoever this guy is, I hope he gets arrested. And I hope that he invests in a damn LSD after his release

@el_nitro sent Baltimore county police to my door *♂️ - jesse_c63
@da_5n0no the scary part isn't that the plates are different, but that the officers at my house insisted that the plates were the same and asked repeatedly for me to admit to it because there was "video evidence" of my car being involved. That is, until they realized that my car has no damage *♂️

@joey_hb we didn't know the severity of the situation. All we knew at the time was that a cop was hit, the guy ran, and I was in handcuffs for it. Even the Baltimore cops thought that I tried to kill a cop because they're just going off of what they were told from NY. And I do similar ****, but I stop when cops stop me. I take responsibility for my actions and own up to the laws that I break when I'm caught. It stays **** that guy in my mind because he could've avoided all of this had he been a man and stopped the car.
