Brake Rotors P31 Where to Buy

I have searched the forums extensively for the 2-piece rotors. Can someone direct me where the best place to buy the 2 piece rotors from?

FCPEuro -- They are out of stock and have no estimate on when they are coming in.
Racingbrake.com -- I have tried emailing and calling them. Have heard nothing back. Does anyone know if their price is for 1 rotor or a set?

Thank you for the help.

Will

Thanks for quick reply! Are there any issues with fake brembos or anything? I am assuming just buy from a reputable seller.

Honestly, for the price, unless you track the car, there is no point on spending the money on 2-piece or 1.5 piece rotors. Save yourself money for tires and gas and get 1 piece rotors.

Yes, I have seen that the 1 piece rotors are literally CHEAP! Is there any type of conversion kit required? (I am sure that is answered extensively on the forum, but I have not searched for it at all.

Thanks for all of the replies everyone.

Never, EVER buy brake rotors from eBay... I've seen some nasty stuff happen to rotors (and sometimes the vehicle occupant(s)) because they were either fake or improperly installed. Whatever you get, always get them from a reliable source that won't sell you counterfeits that started life as cheap Chinese blanks. Yes, fake Brembo two-piece brake rotors do exist.

I just received my p30 front rotors from FCP the other day. I ordered the Brembo badged ones and not MBs. They must have had them drop-shipped from Texas. But, Kyle, a word if I may. I have already emailed your CS department but I wanted to grieve a little here since this was my first "large" order with FCP and new to my AMG. I had ordered pads, rotors, and oil change kit, air boxes, and spark plugs. I already mentioned the rotors shipped separately but I was rather alarmed when one large, heavily distressed thin cardboard box showed up yesterday containing the rest of the parts above. This thing must have been packed on a Friday around happy hour. No care was given to packaging. Parts appear to have been literally thrown in with the large heavy oil kit and its 9 liters of oil jumbled together banging around the box from CT to CA. Other shippers take the care also to put plastic bags taped over the oil. But most problematically, I didn't receive my complete order. 5 spark plugs are missing from the box even though the invoice has them as checked off. Because this was my first order, I don't know if this is "normal", but I've learned that I will not place a single order with both small and large parts if this is how it gets packed and shipped. The boxes containing the air boxes were damaged inside the larger box and I'm lucky the MAF sensors weren't damaged when the 5 liter oil carton was flopping all over. What's the deal? I wanted to do my plugs this weekend but now that ain't happening so I'd like a refund for the 5 missing plugs and I'll just buy them locally. Cheers!

The 1-piece rotors will also work with the red performance brake calibers? I have also been searching for replacement brakes.

Absolutely unacceptable and I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. I'll PM you offline to grab your order number and make certain we get this straightened out. Bottom line it is not the norm and I sincerely apologize for this.

Other vendors should take note. That right there is the correct response for any dispute of any kind. That’s why everyone recommends you guys.

First, thank you. And apologies to all regarding the off-topic, I just saw FCP replying and I was just last night pulling my hair out regarding the shipment so I couldn't help but reply. ANYWAYS, I'm sure it will be resolved and thankfully the missing parts were just a few packs of spark plugs. The parts can be replaced, it was the overall packaging that really had me concerned, as I forgot to mention as well, the front set of brake pads were also thrown in there and tumbling about. Now shipping carriers certainly play their part in all of this, I get that, but I think what I saw really just showed sloppy packing. Go send those warehouse kids to Amazon or Zappos packing school! /endrant...
