P0171 p0174 c63 issue
so i purchased a 09 c63 its a beauty a couple of weeks later the check engine came on and these two codes popped up it is saying its too lean. The car idles like crap and sometimes it stays at 1000 rpm but not only that when i rev it the rev bounces back up afterwards and then goes down. Ive read about it that it might be purge valve vaccum leak or the maf sensors, have an apt at benz next week but trying to figure out the problem. A local midas said its the purge valve but i dont wanna pay for something and then itll turn out it wasnt the problem. I do have k&n filters but the previous owner said if i put the tune back on itll go away, turns out that it didnt. What can this be? Im getting 8mpg!!! PS when i delete the engine light and turn on car it shakes not sure what that could be

Had these exact same codes pop up right after I bought my 2010.
The problem usually stems from stretched intake manifold bolts and a resulting IM gasket leak. I replaced the IM gaskets and the bolts (they're single-use). While I was in there, I replaced the PCV valve since the intake manifold was out of the way.
All of that, done at home, only cost about $140.
