Some people were asking for Dyno numbers. A client of ours had his W211 E63 dynod with ESS Supercharger and ARH headers a few months ago and made 576whp with 6psi pulley on a mustang Dyno (generally reads lower than a dynojet). Here is the Dyno graph.
When my Gen 3 kit arrives I am doing a pre and post installation dyno and will post results along with pictures of my installation progress. My car is a bone stock P30 and I have never had it on the dyno so it should be interesting to see what the Gen 3 Whipple ESS kit does for horsepower increase. I can't wait to get started with the installation!

This will be great! Looking forward to your results
I'm literally so on the button for buying this, all that's stopping me is the £2500 ($3400) import duty and tax on the mthr fckr.
Where's that UK/US trade deal?!
Semi-serious. How likely would I be to get this charger back in hand luggage and ship the ancillaries. I could easily fly out there for less than £2500 and the tax on the ancillaries would be negligible.
As always, the UK is way behind on the deals you offer in the US, and we have like one dedicated AMG tuner here who is Weistec only, at like £12k. Buy a 4-banger Audi though, and you're laughing. Lame.

I'm not sure you would be able to take it as a carry on item. It is pretty heavy to be carrying around. I guess you could check with the airline you would be flying with. Sorry I don't have a concrete answer to this.
Last day for group buy pricing! The first batch of the Gen 3 Whipple ESS kits has sold out but you can still order at group buy pricing. ETA for next batch is 8 weeks according to ESS.
Seriously, if there was anyway to get around the ridiculous import tax I’d have to pay, you’d have my money. It’s just not viable, so I’ll have to wait for a UK distributor, or go for Weistec.

What a pain.
Why don't you just have someone in the US buy it for you, open and unwrap everything, then repackage (different packaging) and ship to you at low declared value as "Used Car Parts" which don't get hit with any duty/taxes? Always used to work for me when I lived there...

After receiving some requests for a group buy we have decided to put one together for ESS supercharger for the W204 C63. The group buy lasts until March 15th 2018.
The ESS supercharger now utilizes the 2.9L Whipple gen 3 supercharger and has the intercooler mounted on top for great cooling efficiency. It uses a large water to air intercooler and currently comes with 6psi or 8psi pulley options (8psi pulley not supported by ESS because of the increased stress from the extra power on parts like the transmission). ESS says their kit and tune makes 577whp without headers on a gen 2 supercharger. We have installed one on our shop car and will be going to the track in the spring once they open up.
This is available for a limited time and only available if we receive a minimum of 5 orders. The pricing will be as follows:
On ESS website says next production date is April 11th 2022.
2.9L whipple Gen 4. Does anyone know the differences between Gen 3 and the Gen 4?
I'm interested in buying a sc kit and in between a stage 2 weistec kit or this ESS kit as they are similarly priced. But as most of you know seems like you get more out of the ESS kit with the larger whipple and now Gen 4.

Stage 2 Weistec Kit is still the smaller 2.3L Whipple.
Unless you custom tune, ESS tuning Supercharger tune is pretty conservative. Torque low end is capped to protect transmission.
If Gen 4 is what is offered, just go with it. Its worth it. No heat issue and better longer term. Most Stage 2 Weistec kits will need ICE tank for extra cooling.
The ESS kit is a oddball...power wise its around the same potential as the Weistec Stage 2. The Weistec Stage 3 produces about 80-100whp more than the both of these.
The fit and finish of the ESS is a bit nicer because it comes with less components, but the Weistec kits are really good as well.
