Help please - new owner.
First of all, hey all - proud new owner of a 2013 C63 AMG 204. Viewed the car on Sunday - fell in love, and picked up yesterday.
Story is - when I viewed it on Sunday I test drove it, and it was fine, but then I took it out to hear the noise again, and it started misfiring, as well as CEL lit up. Dealer (not main), connected OBD cheap error code reader and it said miss fire on cylinder 2 & 3. I said to him to replace coil packs on cylinder 2 & 3, and all spark plugs which he said he done. Picked up the car yesterday, drove home 45 miles - sweet, no CEL, all fine.
Start it up later in the evening and CEL comes up flashing, mis-fire, and after 30 seconds the engine shuts off completely. start driving it, when warmed up it seemed fine, except 1 episode where it sounded like it was running half the power and the throttle response was pretty much non - existent.
Started the car this morning - same issue, ran rough for 30 secs then cut out, then warmed up and is fine, CEL still there.
Went to see my friend who connected the Bosch KTS OBD machine and following codes are there:
P2414
P0300
P0305
P0301
P0304
Seems like the first 1 is a failed o2 sensor, and the rest are all misfires.
I called the dealer and told him, he said he will get all the coil packs changed, and the o2 sensor.
Can this be anything else?
