2013 c63 amg dev pack
Shift mode knob quit working
No codes, no prior issues, no spills on it or anything but the knob doesn't light up or change shift settings. Stuck in comfort. Any ideas?

This literally happened to me last week! I reset trans adaptations and it hasn't acted up since. Do the reset procedures or disconnect the battery for a few hours to see if that remedies the issue. If not, looks like the module is the way to go.

Yeah it went away after a battery disconnect, thanks for the help guys.

This happened to me today - Reset the trans when I got to work. Have not driven yet, but hope it resolves.

That's funny, I had it stop working when I first got this car. I restarted the car and it didn't fix it, but next time I drove the car after parking it worked again.

Mine resolved. Not sure if it was the trans reset or just parking all day.

I unplugged my battery over night last night just for ****s and giggles and enjoyed my errands today in the car much more. Every downshift in manual would rev match and bark. Throttle response was so much better too. Damn autos!
