2012’s are generally out of warranty now which is probably why you’re seeing that drop. Only difference is the color format (red vs yellow) of the Comand screen menus. Otherwise 12s and 14s are identical outside of the usual updated parts that happen during a lifecycle with all cars (injector and MAF versions were updated among other things).

If you're comparing two post-facelift cars (2012 to 2014), then what BLKROKT said is correct. If by "Outside of the facelift" part you mean years prior to 2012 when the facelift occurred (i.e. a 2011 or earlier), then yes, there are more differences.

Aside from the external cosmetic differences, biggest PFL to FL changes would be the transmission and interior design and quality.

yes, aside from design and upgrades. Facelift have updated headbolts. Pre facelift are notorious for the head bolt issue. So if you're in the market, I would suggest looking at facelift models unless you score a great deal on pre facelift. If you're buying pre facelift save a few grand on the side to do the head bolts.

my 2014 has better traffic display than my 2013, the 2013 did the little triangles to show traffic, the 14 doesn't use them just colors (or I had a setting turned on different) my 14 also has some minor differences to the cluster in how it shows things turned on and off like lane departure and attention assist, just a few very minor things you would never notice if you had not owned 2 different year FL cars.

The PFL C63 shares the same interior with the rest of the C class (the plastics, vinyl and leather) and things tend to rattle a fair bit. The FL C63 uses softer plastics and better leather to differentiate it from the non-AMG cars and has some "padding" in various areas so things don't rattle quite as much.

But yeah the biggest differences would be the Command/Nav set up (i prefer the facelift, as opposed to the pop-up PFL style), the headbolts (big one), and the transmission.
I'm not sure which transmission can handle more power in stock form, but the Multi-Clutch Transmission (MCT) shifts faster and smoother than the torque converter to me.
If you are trying to decide, I can't think of a reason, aside from price range perhaps, to go for a PFL over a FL.
From 2012-2014/15 there were no changes with the W204 C63.
Oh, the P30 Performance Pack comes with the limited slip differential on PFL cars. With FL cars, the limited slip differential is a separate option from the renamed P31 Development Pack. So, keep an eye on that option list.

im getting in and out the car at least four times a day and the leather is still in good condition.
If I remember correctly the changes to the interior weren't made because of the lower quality rather updating the design. One thing about the PFL interior design is, that it is very outdated even for 2008.
The FL AMG shares just as much interior with the regular FL C as the PFL.
im not sure where you are pulling your info from but I think there aren’t quite accurate. I hope you didn’t use Wikipedia as a source.

My PFL is lowered (just on spring) and drives on some rough roads. So far with almost 120k miles on it there is nothing ratteling.

Its harder to actually find real leather seating in the FL cars as compared to PFL. All PFL cars I have ever seen had the Nappa leather as standard. I only saw 2-4 nappa leather FL cars when I was shopping last year after totaling my PFL. Nearly all I looked at were pleather with alcantera inserts.
