It's been doing well. But, I'm pretty paranoid b/c it's my daily so I generally keep it on a charger overnight most weekends. I've not actually let it go to see if my driving routine is sufficient to keep it charged and healthy. I suspect not given my short commute and lots of starts.

Parting ways?

I’m surprised to be writing this at barely shy of three years of ownership and only 11,000 miles, but my family priorities seem to be shifting with all that is going on out there in the world. There’s just something suggesting it may be time to go back to an SUV full time. Sooo...
While I haven’t made the final decision, I thought I’d reach out for thoughts on what might be the best way to sell. I’ve not followed the market much, but what I know is:
2009 car- most banks don’t lend on cars more than 10 years old so need to find a cash buyer.

2009- it’s a PFL obviously, but it’s a P30 that i spent thousands baselining when I purchased.

77,000 miles.

headbolts documented done at a dealer.

Some fun mods would probably go with the car bc too lazy to do the work again just to try and sell and lose on shipping.

Anyway, I guess I’m interested in thoughts on whether it’s best to return completely to stock if possible when time comes, or if for the age and miles, just find a kid with $20k to spend and pass on the work I’ve done? If I were to sell, does it make sense to try and jump on that effort before we get into the holidays? I’d probably be just looking for a Bay Area buyer so maybe not an issue.

I’m really torn here. I’ve put in a ton of my own work, learned a lot about wrenching here, and enjoyed my time. Maybe it’s just all the social distancing and lack of track time this year

Good luck with sale...let us know if you end up picking up an ML63 and throwing a supercharger on it.
