Map updates under warranty?
I read that MB covers nav map updates at no charge for the first 3 years, is that right?

I have a 2012 and can find no mention of any free map updates. Check with your dealer?

Correct, after 3 years your paying for them, has only been one update since I bought mine new. It takes ages to install btw too.

Nope - at least not in Canada. You can get the update if you buy it - for about $400 CAD. And, I have yet to see a bootleg NTG 4.5 update DVD so no luck there either.

You have to have a certain code on your vehicle's VMI that specifies this.. I remember seeing alot of the newer cars ('15+) had this.. I believe its for 3 free updates in 3 years after purchase if your vehicle VMI has the code for it.

On my 2014 C63 datacard i have/had 3 years off map updates (SA CODE 502)...
