Magnet behind the speaker - off center
I removed my door trim and I found a magnet behind the actual speaker. It is off center. Should I put it back in the center? I don't get it.
I didn't have speaker problems. I'm fixing something else (lock actuator).
Hopefully somebody can help me.
Thanks.

You can always test as it sits, but that speaker should not work as is. The magnet should be held in place by either bolts or adhesive(I'm guessing is the case here) and not magnetism alone - you should be able to pull it straight off but be careful to avoid hitting the copper coil when doing so(assuming its not touching already). If the coil edge looks clean (not bent or cracked) it's probably still ok and if you're handy enough, should be able to remount but without an adhesive, it will pop off the next time you hit a bump.
Can't tell from the pic but am guessing the magnet has a ridge that the coil fits in (the magnet could have a center 'pole' alone which might be bit more difficult to deal with) and if there are alignment/center 'pins', you can put the magnet temporarily back on to test (will be very difficult to fix properly without those pins) but be very careful as the magnet can get away from you and get 'pulled' on and hit the coil if you're not careful. If it works, you can fix using the proper adhesive - I've only repaired home speakers (which obviously don't deal with heat/bumps) and not certain what that would be but happy to research if you get to that point.

Very strange... The problem is that there was no problem before I removed the door trim. Maybe there is still no problem, haven't tested it yet. The magnet only holds with magnetism (and it is pretty strong). I don't think the magnet will pop off when I will hit a bump.
But at first i tried to put it in the center of the speaker so I hope I didn't break anything doing so. There doesn't seem to be any alignment whatsoever...

It almost looks like the magnet broke off the speaker basket.

Okay.
I need a new speaker!
By the way... On the dash of the car. There's a center speaker. Beside of it on both sides are only ventilation traps, right? I swear I hear some sound from passenger's side "trap". Dealership told me there's no speaker there.
Maybe it's confusing because the driver's side door speaker doesn't work.
Someone has a speaker for sale to ship in Canada G5N 1V2?
