4) front lower control arm $500 (Indy shop)
5) electronic steering lock malfunction $900 (indy shop + towing)

7) Rear pads $140-150 (DIY)
Miles during my ownership was 88k to 117k.
Loved the car though I wish I could have found another. Ended up purchasing a Carrera S because the insurance on it was $100 cheaper a month than a C63

I live in NYC border of Long Island. I get 4-5 times snow each year (up to 10" sometimes). But the snow usually melt quickly.
Will I be fine just get a set of All-Season tires or I must get a set of snow tires? The space is tight for tire storage all year long. Do you guys just have a complete set of wheels (tires and rims) sit on the side at all the time? Or just need to do the tire and rim installation twice a year? And you don't feel it is a big pain to do this each year?
@Cmartin348, how do you feel about the handling of your C63 vs. the A4 you had? I would think the A4 should have superior handling comparing to a C63? Have you gotten into any trouble when your right foot is heavy on C63?
The car may slides at cornering when it is driven at 20 MPH with RWD. On the other hand, the car will be planted it at 40 MPH when cornering if it is AWD. So it has nothing to do with how much power the car has.
Skid pad comparison..
Audi A4 quattro .84 g
2008 C63. .95g
So yeah, the rwd C63 will out handle the awd audi.
AWD makes a bigger difference with acceleration than it does with handling at limit.
