My 507 Just Arrived

Sold my Porsche this week and joined the AMG group!!! Wow this car is fast.
2015 C63 507 Edition

I love the matte finish and the carbon trim is sick, I've got the entire weekend to play with it..

Top photo is at the dealer before shipping 1800 miles, the bottom is just off the car hauler... time to clean her up

Welcome.
Run the vin to de-code the options of the car.
I really like the combo, seems almost like it's not striped, very subtle.

I was a BMW owner for years but I never had the chance to own the big NA V8 M3 so I switched to Porsche and what a difference that was I love them. I thought I'd never change from Porsche but in the back of my head I still wanted the big V8, started looking for the C63 specifically the 507, 2 months later I found it..

The car looks fantastic! How many miles are on it? You had it shipped open carrier? I couldn't stand the thought of that when I bought my BS. I had it shipped enclosed from Georgia to Texas. The extra cost was worth the piece of mind.

+1 to Dr Beasley's for matte paint care. I use their products exclusively on my mine.

If you're keen on removing the resonator, I'd recommend removing the secondary cats at the same time and having the exhaust shop weld in a H crossover. That way you can maintain the AMG bark. There is an existing H crossover in the resonator, but that is rendered useless when you take off the resonator. Mike on here sells the full kits for resonator and secondary cat delete, just fyi.

You will find several posts on the clear side markers. I'll be putting mine in as soon as it gets a little warmer, i think I paid less than $30 for them from Ebay seller Fishcake

Thanks, love the car! I bought it sight unseen from North Carolina shipped to Tucson, AZ. $1400 to ship, I was a bit bummed it was open carrier but it seemed the enclosed wasn't an option.
As far as the exhaust mod goes, from everything I read the resonator delete was the preferred mod that would keep the "bark"

I don't think that's right. Removing the secondary cats keeps the sound the same but the volume gets louder. Removing the resonator without adding an H pipe as well changes the sound to something less AMG.

Sweet ride!

I'm pretty sure only second cat delete would be the best way to go to maintain the bark.

The main resonator delete introduces some rasp.

removing resonator will introduce some rasp and change the AMG bark. Removing sec cats is what you want, will make the car louder and same noise. Here is a video a couple of the members on here made so you can hear the difference between the two.

I played with all the various exhaust mods. And secondary delete for a h pipe, res delete for straight pipes. Did indeed keep the AMG bark. Fair warning though. For some reason the 2015 cars weigh more than a 2014 or earlier coupe. No confirmed reason. But my car is waaay quieter cabin wise then a bud’s 2013 coupe. With his exhaust mod. You could definitely hear the increased volume. But on my car. I had to lower the back seats to really experience it.

That said I have always loved driving cars where you could hear the exhaust throughout the rpm. So even a stock Ferrari would not suffice for me. It would need exhaust work.

Finally ended up with long tube headers. And it completed the Amg package for me.
