Should I get a c63 at 19
I dont know you but if you are a typical 19 year old, you will get tickets and see your money disappear and even get your dl suspended.
If thats worth it for you than by all means knock your self out. You'll have a blast, you'll go to car meets and meet a lot of people with similar interests.
I think you already knew the answer to your own question. You probably came here just to let everyone know you can afford one at that age. Sharing how much you make is giving it away.
Congratz.
Invest in a porsche. They'll be worth something when you are 25
Dont hate me, Im giving you good advice. The advice I wish someone gave me before I bought my first AMG.
I had thousands of dollars of tickets and my dl suspended for a year. Not to mention a few minor wrecks while doing stupid **** in canyons.
Now when Im older, I want a fine car that'll be worth something some day. Hoping these cars will start appreciating at some point.

And besides, if he were a trust fund kid, pretty sure 1. He wouldnt be working. 2. He'd make more than 48k/yr

Nevermind, but don't make me bring back 50.

Sorry but buying a car as an investment is silly. 99.999999999% of cars will decrease in value the second you drive them off the lot.
If someone tells you a car is an investment, laugh at them as you are running away.

The man asked a question regarding his current situation. If you don't have anything to say regarding his situation, then get the hell off the man's thread!
Why must you come here and talk about what kind of person he is? Even if he is someone who just wants to brag that he can own a C63 at the age of 19, what is it to you?

If you are talking about me, you might need to reread my post.
I say it how it is because I've been through it.....and no I could not afford a c63 at 19 and no I do not own one now but I knew friends who took out loans to buy $40k e55 at the time and they were making less than me.
I worked hard, saved my money, and bought a car I wanted in cash. It wasn't a lot of money but it was a smarter decision than tying my self into a 30-40k car loan. I wont even do that now
There are good decisions then there are bad. Just coz itll be fun it doesn't mean its a good decision.
This isn't about a c63, this is about a car that'll get you in trouble if you are a typical 19 year old. now Im not saying the OP is but chances are...
And whoever said all cars depreciate as soon as they are driven off the lot....yes you are right but look into older cars that are climbing in value that are just as fun.
Be satisfied with your C350, and when the time comes, upgrade to a Porsche. Much smarter decision than spending a huge portion of your income on a car and leaving no money to save for investments. Just my 2 cents.

At least you then gave him some decent advice after assuming that he is an average 19 year old that just wants to brag a little.
