S Mode starting in 2nd gear

S Mode starting in 2nd gear
Does anyone else's FL c63 start in 2nd gear even in S mode on cold start?
Once my car is warm or the car downshifts to 1st, it will start in 1st from then on until next day cold start.
I already reset TCU adaptations once and after that it would start in 1st like it should.
It will eventually.go back to starting in 2nd gear on cold starts.
Not sure if driving mostly in stop and go traffic is causing the adaptations to do this.
But as far as I know this should only be a C mode feature.
My c63 p31 only has eurocharged v5 tune but otherwise stock.

Function of the transmission shifting. From park/neutral to 1st requires multiple disengagements, so the veh will only go to 2nd the first time you shift out of park/neutral. Every time after that it will go to 1st, as you noted. Perfectly normal and designed that way.
