+1 for group buy, but my C is pre-facelift, might be tricky to get enough of facelift and pre owners that would make the seller care.
BTW, has anyone heard any more info of this updated Android 7.x unit which is apparently coming out this month?

It's more likely that as the screen manufacturer updated the IC in their product, it'll come with a new version of Android, for example, if they were to use an IC from late 2016 it would probably come with Android 7.x out of the box.

My main driving factor in wanting a modern version of Android is for more ironed out WiFi and Bluetooth stack. In my personal experience, mainly with Android phones running pre 6.x, I had very inconstant behavior with connectivity; WiFi not as much but Bluetooth would arguably be 50/50 in terms of successfully connecting to auxiliary devices ... and for something like this I'd really like those features to just work.

+1 for a nice screen, I'd be willing to pay a little extra for a nice display (although it is already somewhat expensive at ~700USD,) the overall UI is beautiful with very good attention to detail so no reason to hinder it with a sub-par panel
(Note, the main manufacturer's site hasn't listed any updated hardware either at this time.)

For me the main issue with this unit is that in europe the data card slot isn't working. My company pays may mobile phone bill and I w'd like to put a data sim card on the unit so I don't use the company's plafond.
In China this function is enabled (check top left of the screen at min 4:49m
). Does anyone knows how to enabe this option?

1- Does anyone know how to pass the USB cable and the aux cable to the glove compartment?
2 - Does anyone tried to route the USB cable under the driver's right armrest (center)?
3- The audio of the phone calls only comes out through the left speaker. Is it possible to solve this problem?

Well it's been a day..... I bought a unit off Alibaba and had my local audio shop install it. I installed Pandora, Netflix and everything was working fine. As I'm driving home, I realize I cannot access the factory interface. It was no longer coming up when you touched the FM/CD button. Then the reverse camera did not show on the screen when I placed the car in reverse. I tried resetting the unit in the menu, turned the car off and on a couple of times and nothing changed.
Then I really messed up. I hit the factory reset button. Now I have a screen that has Chinese writing on it with an exclamation point. That's it. No options or anyway to start over.
Does anyone out there know a way back from this point?

*****False alarm. When I started the car this morning, the system had reset itself to normal operation.

Yes it does. It's working very well except using the phone through the screen's interface is terrible. As mentioned earlier in this thread, the sound is only coming through one speaker which makes it very difficult to hear.
Overall though, a great product.

There was a fix for that for the units from CKM. iirc it needed an upgrade to the little box which now all the units from CKM come with standard. I remember reading that somewhere in this thread. Maybe the place you purchased yours can supply you with the upgraded unit?
