some fun with a w205
Not sure of the mods but had some nice bark to the downshifts with a fair amount pops....probably downpipes. But if it had downpipes it would need a tune....and if it had downpipes and a tune I figured it would be quicker then it was. Or maybe the w204 is just that quick with catless headers and e85. Sounded like he was brake boosting right before the 3 count. Nevertheless, not enough to take down the old w204...

I don't think a w204 can keep up with a w205 with downpipes + tunes... Can it??? Was the w205 driver giving it full gas?

I dont think it can so maybe it wasnt tuned/dp's? I honestly dont know. Ive heard quite a few w205 c63 that were stock and although they pop/crackle on downshift, this car sounded way more aggressive then those stock cars. Yes, I have the eurocharged flex fuel kit

Yeah, maybe it was stock, then you’d have a better setup.
I’ve run a w205 C63 (non-S) with downpipes + tune and that car gets really fast above 100mph... Owner told me it was putting around 600bhp. Turbo’ed cars get such a good gain with so little investiment.

Maybe it had the sports exhaust?
I've heard a friend's C63S with the sports exhaust, and they did a software update, that car pops and bangs for days!

My stock 205 S does feel slower than my 512whp W204. At the end of this week it will have EC tune, DP's, & exhaust. Should be in the 550-560whp range with 600lb + tq. At that point I'm sure it will be a bit quicker.

Funny enough, a neighbor on my street bumped into me and said his buddy was the guy in the w205 the other day. He said his car had weistec downpipes and was tuned. The guy owned a w204 at one point. Im sure we will line up again.
