Engine knock
I noticed the faint sound of what I believe to be engine knock. It’s anything but obvious—radio down and driving near a wall or trees to reflect the sound and I can barely hear it. But, I believe there is a slight knocking under heavier acceleration (3000 rpms and up). No apparent loss of performance. I’ve had cars that had real knocking problem back in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s and this was nothing like that.
I was a third of the way through a tank of gas I purchased on the highway in southern Indiana Friday evening. I obviously used premium but I wonder if it was contaminated.
Anyone else run into this?

Even if you put in crappy gas by mistake, the engine has knock sensors that are way more sensitive than your ears and the ECU should retard the timing way before you can hear it (unless you have a custom tune, in which case all bets are off).

No tune. ROW air boxes are the only mod. I thought the ECU would fix it, too. I heard it again today still no CEL.
May drop it at the dealer.
