Oil was fairly black looking too. In a few thousand K, Should I go to a shop and let them drain it?

That's fine. You most likely burned 1.5l of oil and 1l remain in your oil cooler. Just keep a watchful eye on how much oil you're putting back in.

Did mine the other day and had like 8.2.
For reference, I do my oil on the 5K interval and have the dealer do it on the 10K interval. This way, the dealer is dropping the oil from the bottom. I do the quickie from the top. I wouldnt recommend doing all your oil changes using the mighty vac, regardless of interval.

Some of the other members have reported that dealers also use a similar process as the mityvac so, your dealer may not be draining from the bottom. 2cents
