Shop told me I must use 2 piece rotors only?

I went with the Racing Brake kit: https://www.racingbrake.com/Mercedes.../mb-irk-18.htm
Got the kit shipped to Lewiston and drove down to pick it up. Even with exchange, the entire kit for all 4 corners with pads ended up being less then just 2 new 1.5 piece rotors.
