Lease returned the Maserati today and was going to switch to Progressive, but once we got all the coverages the same, price was $10 cheaper, LOL. $3400 a year, which is still $1000 more with the Ghibli off. C63 costing me $2000 a year, $1000 for the RX, and peanuts for the Silverado. Think with living in the SF Bay Area and high coverage don't think I can get any cheaper. Just amazed that a used C63 cost more to insure than my previous G63/G55 and Porsche Turbos. I'm scared to see my rate after my son gets his license. Lucky for me he's scared of heights, roller coasters, and driving fast .

I have no tickets and no accidents on my record. I've driven company supplied cars for the past 25 years me so my C63 is the first and only car on my I've had to get insurance for. When I first signed with Nationwide, it was $105/month. After 6 months, it jumped to $135. Then 6 months after that it jumped to $165. Does insurance usually go up like this for everyone for no reason?

I've read many complaints like yours with teaser rates and short term discounts they give new customers to entice them to sign up. Only way for me to lower my rates is to lower my coverage plus move out of Cali, . I'm still shopping around but have not really found another cheaper alternative than Geico so far. All he online companies are about the same, plus or minus $100. The premium companies are about $400-500 more.

Get Mercedes Me, report to the insurance that you have active alarm with tracking and recovery and then every 3 years hop between insurance companies.
