headlight scoring?

headlight scoring?
Hi guys
Have a 2013 PP with xenon lights and there is some scoring in what looks to be the outside of both headlight covers.
They are the exact same shape and location on both sides so 'm assuming this is from heat in the bulbs burning the cover or sun reflection?
Does anyone else have this issue, and if so is there a way to fix this (other than a full replacement)? Tried to get a photo but doesnt seem to show up well on photo however is quite obvious in person.
Absolutely pisses me off so appreciate any help on this. Thanks
