Question Intake manifold gaskets

Hello all. Tell me please, my friend changed the intake manifold gaskets and bolts on his C63. Traveled 1000 kilometers. It seems to him that he did not properly tighten the bolts. The intake manifold will not be pulled out of the engine, it simply unscrews and tightens the new bolts. If he unscrews all the bolts and twists the new ones according to the instructions, does he need to put new gaskets again or can they be left?

Should be fine to re-use. Are you sure the issue is only that the bolts weren't tight enough?

I am assuming there were some symptoms that caused him to check his intake bolt torque since this is not routine maintenance. If that is true, the gaskets must be leaking. The intake bolts are "torque to yield" and if they are loose something failed assuming no one messed with them since it left the factory. The gaskets are also only meant to be compressed once and not reused. If he only wants to fix it once the correct way would be new gaskets and new properly installed bolts with the correct tools.
