Awhile back I installed long tubes. I had previously had cats and reso removed. After the install I had the euro LT tune installed. I ran this way for months with no issues then the sensors went out. Had the same ones from when I bought it at 45,000 miles. So after long tubes and sitting at 85,000 they went out. I replaced with BOSCH o2 sensors. 6,000 miles later BOTH o2 sensors went out. ONLY USING 93 pump gas. NO RACE GAS. My buddy told me about 02 SPACERS? Do are cars just blow o2 sensors like that when you have long tubes? Seems hard to believe and o2 sensors aren't that cheap to be going out that quickly.
I have attached a picture with the 02 spacer on the sensor and showing how much it pushes it back.
Sometimes they can. I had a set go out in 10k but this new set is lasting longer. I get my Bosch ones from O’Reilly’s and they have a 2 year warranty I think. They are very good about honoring that if a sensor goes bad. You don’t want O2 spacers on the primaries. They need to be able to read AFR correctly for your engine to work properly. Do NOT use those on primary O2 sensors.

Thanks for the response. NO SPACERS. To be honest with you I put some of that chevron cleaner into a half tank of gas and im pretty sure I got up on it a few times. That might be it.
