Tire Size help with HRE 19'

Hello guys,

First off I apologize as I don't quite understand the exact optimal tire size to run even after reading over 10+ threads on tires and wheels.

I plan to buy HRE FF15 front 19x8.5 +47 and rears 19x9.5 +45.I am on stock suspension and will stay that way.

What is the optimal tire size to run? 245/40/19 front and 265/35/19?

I read that 275 is too wide and rubs/not good for normal driving but better for performance.

Any advice is appreciate. Thank you!

^ this. The aspect ratios you have are too high. Also, 275 in the rear with only a 45 offset will rub.

275 with a 50 offset will rub the inner liner. So there's absolutely no way a 45 offset will work with 275.

Why do you say this? A 45 offset will pull the tire out compared to a 50. If inner liner rubbing is an issue this would help things.

Can't you run the manufacturer sizes for the 19s?

stock size works - but if you're doing custom offset you can easily get a bit wider stance and better traction...

Im running :

Wheels
19x8.5 in the front (offset is 41)
19x9.5 rear (offset is 43)

Tires
245/35/19- front
275/30/19-rear

Only time i get MINIMAL rub is if there's a HUGE dip or drop in the road. Otherwise im cool. I am running the Firestone Firehawk INDY 500 tires. Love them! I'm on stock suspension

Just to clarify, without fender flares, a 275 tire will barely fit. With a 50 offset and 275 good year f1s, I'm rubbing on the inner liner on big dips and the wheel is flush with the fender. If he pushes a 45 offset, his rub will now be on his fender and not inner wheel liner.

Yea but If you are able to go wider, why not right? Better traction

The optimal size to run on HRE's FF15's is 235/35/19 || 255/30/19. These are the recommended tire specs from HRE's engineers from this wheel. HRE puts a lot of research & development into their FlowForm wheel fitments so you are guaranteed a nice fit.

These are in-stock and we have special deals on pricing for them. I can even put together a tire package for you as well so that when the wheels arrive to your home they'd be ready to bolt onto the car. If you'd like to learn more give us a shout - David@WheelsBoutique.com || 786 249 0127 ext. 2109
