Cel after installing eurocharged v7
Hey guys hoping I could shed some light on my issue. I got my car used two years ago with v5 tune. O2 sensors were turned off because the car had headers. The original owner removed headers before sale but kept the tune on. I can't pass smog in California because rear o2s were turned off. Contacted eurocharged and purchased handheld tuner along with the v7 tune. After installing v7 and driving the car 50 miles I got a check engine light. I was told by Jerry to reset the light which I did. Drove the car around 100 miles on sat and now four check engine lights came on. Picture posted before. I haven't had any check engine lights on the v5 for two years until I installed v7. Do u think I could have gotten a bad tune file? Anyone else have this issue?

Check to see if the car has the typical issue with a slight leak from the intake manifold gasket. Found out I had some leaky gaskets while getting tuned on the dyno. The stock v7 tune doesn't play nicely if theres any sort of intake manifold leak even if it ran fine while stock

You could also flash stock now that you have a handheld and see if it comes back. Intake manifold is a prime suspect for too lean also could be an o2 sensor issue both would be masked potentially if o2’s where turned off.

I checked my handheld device all monitors were complete and ready. Then about 80 miles later the cel came on. It never came on for two years with v5. Could it be K&N filters with no charcoal filters? I will check if my handheld has a stock tune on it shortly. I've been reading I could use carb cleaner and spray around the intake manifold to see if any leaks

ya the carb cleaner should work basically if it is sucking any air and sucks in some carb cleaner you will hear the idle fluctuate indicating it sucked in some carb cleaner. Double check all the connections also on the airboxes. Others have had issues with the K&N's throwing lean codes, various things seem to fix, try stock filters, sometimes the K&N's don't seal quite right it seems on the airboxes, also get some MAF cleaner and clean the MAF sensors, sometime the oil off the K&N's coats them and causes lean errors due to misreading.

So there was a stock file on my handheld im rolling around with that today. Car still feels just as powerful just doesn't have the blips and louder exhaust note.
I need to get my readiness monitors activated so i can pass a smog today. Put some fuel injection cleaner in the fuel tank as well
Still has a slight rough idle not nearly as pronounced as before.

Do yourself a favour and take your air boxes off and get MAF cleaner and spray your MAF sensors clean on both air boxes. I used non residue electrical cleaner and my problem was solved.

your tune is bad, most likely. I would see if the tune you have can store info, if so send it in and have them look at it. I would recomend RENNTECH, Im running a 93 Octane tune/ row boxes and running 104 Sunoco not one issue. shortly after the MBH Headers went on no issues. Howeve,r I have heard of people having issues with intake leaks from fooling aroung replacing filters and (broken fittings and vacume hoses) and home made row boxes having MAS problems (dirty) air flow is also another possibilty to check.
