Tips before replacing headers
So I'm getting ready to replace the headers on my 2015 C63. I ordered the ARH with x pipe and cats. Do I need to order anything else like header bolts, gaskets, etc....
thanks

Pretty much just bolts and gaskets. Also, check your engine mounts and replace those if needed while doing your headers. It will save you plenty of time and money down the line.

My ARH came with bolts. Just get gaskets for the head to header. Also, depending on your mileage, new O2 sensors might be good to do as well.

+1 on the ECE mounts. And on the O2 sensors. You WILL blow the old ones out.

It's been 13 months and 18000 miles since my header install (42000 on the car now) and the original o2s are still on the car. No codes either. Granted my car is a '14 and an older model year has more time on the o2s that might shorten the life even more.....but what is the reason headers kill the o2?

Why do you say that? Not just you but I've seen a few posts mention that.
