Steering wheel trim question?

Quick question, is the chrome trim around the buttons on the FL steering wheel just clipped on or is there screws that hold it on? If there's screws, what's the best way to access them?

Any help would be great!

there's two screws and to access them you need to remove the airbag.

Yes, airbag has to be removed then 4 screws hold the trim, 2 behind airbag and 2 just in the backside of the bottom on the center lower spoke of the wheel.

Here is a DIY - from a CLA but same wheel . https://www.mercedescla.org/forum/62...r-install.html

Disconnect the battery and let the car sit for a while if you think you will need to unplug the airbag or it will set a code and you will need the dealer or Xentry to erase the code to reset SRS.
