Buying Tips - New to the Forum !
Hey guys I'm new to the forum and looking to pick up a W204 C63. I previously owned a C300 (snooze) and always wanted the AMG, looking around they are starting to get in my price range. Ideally looking for a 2012 lower mileage 4 door with the Development Package. Are there any areas to take an extra look at or common problems with this year range? Sorry if this info is on the site somewhere im not good with the search function !
Also I am located in southern NJ only a few miles from Atco Raceway. If anyone is in the area and wouldnt mind taking a minute to show me a few things on their car I would greatly appreciate it !

I've found several C63, within 200 miles from my location in NJ, and MD. Basically within two hours drive from you. Use this site, and change the location on the filter for your neck of the woods. https://www.listingallcars.com/srp/?...c=s&c=y&ps=100

Are there any areas I should be taking a closer look at when inspecting the car? Are there any known failures that occur around a certain mileage on the 2012-14 C63 ?

The issues had been sorted out by the 2012 model.
Just look for signs of accident damage, and check for service history. Listen to the motor for any funny sounds.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking at a 2012 with 75k on the clock. They are asking $28,000. The car has the appearance package with 19" black wheels and the matte gray paint. Does anyone have any experience with the matte paint and how it holds up? It has a couple bumper dings I would be looking to get fixed and with that being said I think the fair price for this vehicle should be closer the $26k range. What are your guys thoughts on pricing and the paint ?

But as far as making touch ups go, that's were it becomes interesting. It is very difficult to match this paint, most often the entire car will require a respray.
This is what I've been told. Because you can't simply blend the paint. Whether there's any truth to this, I really don't know.
