New member, exhaust question
Hey everyone! Im about to close the deal on a 2009 C63 AMG, and my first mod will be the exhaust. I’ve looked up a few systems but all of them seem to be over $1500+ for name brand. Is there a cheaper route to go? Such as removing secondary cats or resonators? Anything like that? Thank you in advance!
Also, I’m coming from a 2014 Lexus IS250 F-Sport so I’m new the Benz game!

On my '09, I did a secondary cat delete. Highly recommend for bang for the buck mod.

Whatever you do, keep your OEM mufflers and Resonator; they sound beautiful. Just get rid of your cats. And save $ for those longtube headers..soooooo worth it.

Congrats hope the deal goes threw. I’ve got a 2010, just got it 2yrs ago but it’s bone stock still 35000 miles. Anyway I just bought a mikes power pipe yesterday after all my research it’s the best bang for the buck. And mike is an awesome persons to deal with. He packed and shipped it already. Can’t wait to put it on I’ll post some pics of before and after if you want.

Your going to ruin your exhaust, not to mention you might gain like 10 HP while doing it. Get a tune and go from their. Renntech is a great place to start.
