M156 Misfire symptom

Hello all,

Last night, a solid CEL came on and the car was hesitant when driving above 1800 RPM at any gear by shaking hard. Even when sitting stationary, the engine was vibrating which I was able to feel. I came home in a limp mode and restarted the car. CEL was not in the system anymore. I ran an OBD II but it was not able to catch anything. Per the emissions smog check report from the OBD II reader, there is no misfire and oxygen sensors are working properly. The car is 2014 with 40k miles. I have been driving about 2 to 3 hours but the symptoms not coming back. I know this is a shot in the dark but could this be a simple miscommunication? Coils? O2? Cam sensor?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your input. It is completely stock. Perhaps I should take it to the shop to pull CEL history,
