If any of you are good at CAD drawings, and want to CAD it for me. I have access to a CNC that can cut it without issue.
Carbon looks cool, but if you want to reduce costs we can cut out of ABS Plastic.

Yeah that’s my terrible drawing. Some of the measurements are off. All you really need is a long piece of cardboard, some scissors and patience.
And don’t forget the “anti lift plate” that goes around the radiator support and is secured by hose clamps on either side. I didn’t see that in the pics above. If you have it wedged into the space behind the grille that should be enough, but it’s cheap insurance.
Why don't you take your plate and trace the outline on a piece of paper? That way it can be scanned and sent as a PDF to be used as a stencil and nobody has to rely on your measurements.

Sell it for a few bucks and the community can call you a hero.

This was a DIY at first, as simple as one gets, and if you’re not comfortable cutting up a simple cardboard template yourself, you really shouldn’t be working on your car. Go spend $600 or whatever on the professionally-produced version in this thread, they’re just begging for people like you.

I mean, most of the credit should go to AutoTech Racing or whatever they’re called now for inventing this in the first place. I just followed their pictures to make the thing and performed some additional testing. It’s not hard, I don’t get it. It’s a thin piece of plastic or CF cut to a shape. Figure it out guys. ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

IIRC the diagrams are on the forums for BOTH PFL and FL, look them up. Yes, they aren't 100% accurate, but just use a piece of cardboard first. I wouldn't bother with real carbon fiber tbh. I used 4mm black plastic, and its been secured to my car for over a year, which also included 5 track days! Buy a dremel, and cut it urself and it would probably still be cheaper then a shop to cut it for you heh.

Get the *** out of here. It’s permanently fastened to my car. If you need a hero I’m already one for making and testing and posting detailed instructions in the first place thank you.

I never fuacking mentioned that I would need your template or even that plate at all. I'm not in the marked or even have the interest to use a plate like that.
Besides I have fabricated way more complicated items than a plate with a few cut outs. Shiit I put cars together for the green hell.
The reason I made that suggestion was to keep someone from selling overpriced items like that on this forum, by making it even easier to replicate what you made.
It's one thing I cant stand is people who sell stuff for way more than what it's worth.

Why the f*ck does it feel like everyone is taking a jab out of this thread? I ain't selling sh*t. I am a consumer that decided to offer the plate at a discounted price to the people that were previously interested in the other group buy. Yeah it is on the more expensive side but who said owning an AMG is cheap? If you aren't interested then keep on scrolling, no need for negative comments.

Y'all actin like I came up with the price. Yeah it's on the expensive side but if you don't like the DISCOUNTED price I am offering on a product I do not make or associated with then keep on moving.

I think what everyone is saying, any they're right. Is that the product you are trying to offer is absolutely high quality and is valued at what you are selling it for, but it is 1000% unnecessary and can be made from a much cheaper carbon fiber that costs less than $100 and they can follow the instructions given on the original post about this topic.
Like the one below for sale about $80 shipped, but good luck with your group buy.

Or under $100 if you use carbon fiber (which is completely unnecessary).

Up to about 85F ambient temps, peak oil temp reduced by up to 25F. After that, the plate loses effectiveness completely.
Of course carbon fiber is safe

As BLKROKT said, it does work, until outside temps rise at which point it ceases to do anything. I found that to be anything over 32deg celcius personally.

I would consider a carbon fiber one under $200. I got my lazy butt off the couch and did my own for under $25 bucks.
