2014 507 coupe 30k miles extend warranty?
My 507 has less than 30,000 miles. 1 yr MB warranty $2,300 or 2 yr warranty $3600. I have had no problems with the car I am the second owner and the car is coming off of MB CPO warranty. Should I extend warranty or pass?

Sounds like you don't drive it much, stuff on a car generally wears out from use, so mileage mostly not time. If you are only driving it 5 or 10k a year, it is unlikely that much will change inside of 10k, so risk is pretty low that you will have any major component failure on a facelift car. It is obviously your comfort in knowing you will be covered vs saving the money and being ok with the small risk that something can go wrong that costs much more than the warranty. I have the same year 507 with 30k miles on it and never considered a warranty - drive it 3-5k a year, warranty expired 3 weeks ago.

2014 C63 Edition 507
Like Roadkill, I also have a low mile (12,000) 2014 507 I bought as CPO. I let the CPO expire last Summer. No regrets as I've never had a problem with the car and anything "minor" that could come up ought to be less than the extended warranty price. I drive about 3K per year.

had my diff, water pump and motor mounts covered with my extended warranty last year, blew my motor a few weeks ago 2009 c63 and getting a 2014 motor put in currently, the extended warranty 100% paid off for me lol

I have a 2014 507 with 27k miles, I bought it at 19k with extended warranty 3 years for 2.9k bumper to bumper, seems like a low price man but nothing’s popped up (knock on wood)... 507s and the facelift PP cars seem bullet proof. I feel like the money is better spent on the next big maintenance like brakes. But the peace of mind is great

Quick question for you, being that you have a 2009, did you keep the extended warranty up after the factory warranty expired? Or were you able to get an extended warranty, after your initial warranty expired? I am looking to get an extended warranty on my 2009, but I’m not sure if it’s possible. I only have 76,000 miles on it, but don’t believe it’s covered anymore. I’m not sure what the factory warranty even went to.
