C63 headlight open and mod question
hi ,
im planing to open my headlight in my 2012 c63 p31 ..to mod the turn signal to put dynamic led bar in it ... so my question is ... if i remove the OEM led strip and put aftermarket dymanic led strip .... the car will code or not ? if code .. they have a way to delete code ....
if someone can help before i open it will be very nice

Are you modding similar to DMP Car Designs? how does it compare price wise to parts and time? I went DEPO V1 a few years ago, now have DEPO V2 w switchback, but kept the old lights just in case. I will upgrade the bulbs then hold them. Just saying these days with the way people drive you may need another set to pull off the shelf. good luck either way and post when you are done

Yes something like that ...but i have c63 p31 so i have intellibeam and depo dosnt have so need to mod my light i think !!and want to have a "line" of led like audi ect ... the depo are reflector led style .....

Need info on the product you will be installing. It'll have to be CANBUS compatible to not trip errors - most of them aren't. If it's purpose built for w204 headlights, they'll likely be plug and play but otherwise I wouldn't count on it

Just out of curiosity, I would love a step by step on opening and resealing the light. I really want to put new lenses on mine.

I'll do one whenever I get the chance to take the headlights out of my C250 for a lense swap. It's fairly easy, but you will need new butyl sealant (I'll link it when I get all the pics)
