My 5 month ownership experience
Well it has officially been 5 months of ownership and I have come up with a list of things potential owners should consider.. and what to do vs not to do. I bought my car at 31k miles and it now has 37k miles.
These are all my opinions. I am a noob and have had zero experience before this car in handling this kind of power, also my first AMG. 2012 black couple p31.
That is all, bring on the flames.

- Bad idea as a daily driver -> gas is horrible and costs too much. I finish my full tank in one week costs me between $50 - $70 a fill-up ($3.25 - $3.70 per gallon). Get a cheap daily and enjoy the hell out of this car when you are not commuting to work etc.
- If you have kids, yes the coupe is large enough to fit a car seat in the rear seats. I am 6'3 and I can fit a small child with a car seat behind me and still drive comfortably.
- Driving in "SPORT HANDLING MODE" is a must when enjoying the car. Never drive it with TC fully on (cuts power I think ).
- Manual mode when you really want to push the car, S+ shifts too early if you are NOT wide open throttle. But you can lightly tap the gas pedal to downshift in S+ mode (doesn't work too great).
- Maintenance ain't cheap if you are one of those types of people that will only service at a dealer. Plenty of capable shops that can do what the dealers do for damn near half the price
