Parking light question

I installed 194 canbus leds to the side markers and parking lights within the headlight housing. In the first 2 weeks the inner light on each headlight went out. I bought 2 new bulbs, they didn’t work. Switched out a working bulb from the outer light and that didn’t work. Could it be a fuse issue? I’m completely lost

Both headlights, this light does not work anymore

LEDs have polarity so maybe turning it around and try that...?

Make sure you have a good contact between the bulb and the connector from the headlight. Seems to me it might be possible to push the bulb in too far and not have positive contact. This is going back to my 2010 so a while ago now. Seems the LEDs being flat do not have a positive stop and can be pushed too far into the socket. Hope it is something simple like that.

I actually ran into the same exact issue a couple weeks ago on mine. Did a full front LED swap, and checked each bulb as I swapped them. All four eyebrows worked when I was done, but a couple days later a buddy pointed out to me the inner ones on each light assembly weren't on. I reached in on the passenger side and removed the cap to see if it was loose or something. Couldn't get anything that way with the light still installed, and it was EXTREMELY hot. A couple days later I had my Solus plugged in and just for S&Gs I checked the codes for the light module. I had two codes in there for shorts on those circuits. Now, I know for a fact all the wiring inside my light assemblies is fried; like all the insulation on the light gauge wiring just crumbles and rubs off. I thought I had been careful enough not to cross any circuits and insulated what I could, but I'm suspecting not since all other bulbs are working perfectly and I'm not getting any warnings on the dash. I know the LCM can shut off independent circuits on a fault/missing bulb, so I'm not too worried about it until I have a chance to pull the light assemblies out again.

I've been meaning to ask if anyone else has run into this issue (wiring inside light assemblies being cooked), but didn't grab pictures the last time I had it all apart.

Anyway, could be the same problem for you. Just a thought.

ive been dealing with this issue for a while now. Have already gone thru 3 sets of leds for me it’s the outer ones that go first. Which I noticed have little to no wire casing from it being brittle and coming off. Was wondering how you solved yours. I will attempt to heat shrink mine while the bumper is off at autobody shop. Hopefully it’s not the plugs shorted too.
