I really like the Carbon Ceramic look on the brake calipers. I got aftermarket black wheels with a stainless steel lip, but i am looking to paint my calipers the same color as the SLS63 carbon ceramic brakes.
@Faris63- Are you stating this from experience or just from comparing them by eye?
@Tal@ACGAutomotive- Looks very damn close. Did you do this on a car already? Do you have pictures mounted already on a benz? If so, please PM me price for the paint or if you would, a color code would be awesome, as i have a guy who will paint it for me locally.
Thank you Gents. I hope to get this done and show everybody the outcome.

I just sent these to a customer who installed them yesterday on a white C63.
He said he would post up some pics shortly this week.

This question has been posed on AMG Private Lounge, calipers are built by and finished by Brembo. Paint code is a proprietary AMG color, and AMG will not release it. I can assure you itnis not the same code at the GTR. It may be close but not the same. As Tal stated he or a good paint shop can get very very close. I would go with ACG, they have a great caliper exchange program and have not heard of any complaints on paint quality or finish quality.
This color was chosen by AMG becuase their silver caliper turn gold when used on a track, they opted for this gold becuase it does not discolor. I personally think it is hideous, except for when it is on a black car. I have AMG carbon ceramic brakes on my C BS and SLS BS and changed the color from gold to red on my C and from gold to black on my SLS.

But JRCart--how do you really feel about the color?

Thanks for your opinion, but I personnally love the color and now have it on my white C63 thanks to ACG. The OP asked for pics of ACG's product which is why I told them to check out my thread. I think it is great that everyone has their own opinion on colors and what not but I say we let the OP decide for himself what he wants to rock.

You are absolutely correct, different strokes for different folks, I never said we all had to like the same thing. I can tell you from conversations I have had with people very high up at AMG that the gold/burnt orange caliper color is one of the biggest complaints they get and one of the biggest requests they get to have optional caliper colors on carbon ceramic brake systems like you can get with Porsche and Ferarri. So many people hated it world wide that I believe starting next year you will be able to get other colors, so obviously I am not the only person that dislikes the color.

Interesting info for sure...I just didn't want red anymore cause too many other cars are coming with those stock. I am also a Texas Longhorn fan so I guess I'm always partial to burnt orange lol.
