Turn over engine without starting?
Hi gents,
As the title says I want to know the easiest way for me to turn over my 2012 c63 with out it starting so I can build up oil pressure. Reason being is the last time I did an oil change it got a horrendous cam rattle on start up which did not sound nice, so would like to get oil pressure into the new filter before I run it. Should I just pull the fuel pump fuse if so where will I find?
Thanks for the help.

You know, you may be onto something.
Many w124 did just that, cranked couple times before ignition went on-line.
Of course, people feel that an engine that catches and starts really fast is a healthier engine, but an engine that catches after couple turns has time to build a bit of oil pressure.
But it used to really irritate me, I have to tell you. I did all the tune up that was possible on the 4.2 aspirated V8 just so that maybe it would catch faster.
As to answering your question, I don't doubt that there's a table in the tuning software that regulates just that.
It would not only hold off spark, but fuel too.
Maybe a tuner here could offer this option ?
Only that even as healthy as it is for the engine, it's really annoying to have a long crank.
